The Technology Department is installs, maintains and troubleshoots all aspects of technology in the district.

Bruce has been with the district since 1997 and has saw many changes in the district since starting, one accomplishment is implementing the work order system that allows staff to make trouble tickets and notify the technology department immediately, prior to this was a paper pencil system that required an approval of the building principal sometimes causing the teachers to wait well over a week before we knew about the issue. This wasn't acceptable so we contracted with Blue Chalk software to develop their first version of the work order system. It allows tracking by both email and the web interface and allows staff to get feed back from technicians keeping them in the know.

Bruce also worked many hours during the "Kids First" campaign that was a multi million dollar bond issue that passed by over 84% approval from the voting public which along with many other things provided the district with 100+ security cameras and allowed for the completion of a the Smart Board for Every Classroom Project started with district funds. Each room at Potosi R-3 is now a SMART classroom!

Jason, has been with the district since 2008 after graduating PHS, he served in the US Millitary after wich he returned to Potosi to settle in and begin his carreer here with Potosi R-3. Jason, handles the daily repair and maintenance of the computers and hardware of the District.
